Every now and then we come across news stories that are just too strange to pass up. “Rats!” is what one lady yelled as she was quote “attacked” by rodents in an Abbeville, Louisiana Wal-Mart, as reported by Fox News. The lady in this article has filed suit against Wal-Mart over a rodent attack.

We’ve all heard of the frivolous lawsuits against large corporations, such as the multi-million dollar lawsuit won against McDonalds when someone spilled hot coffee on themselves. Isn’t coffee supposed to be hot? But, do Nutria really attack humans?

Image from Louisiana Department of Wildlife & FisheriesI'm not saying whether or not this Rodent Attack story is frivolous or that it was totally unavoidable. Yet, business owners must aways be on guard of potentional hazards to their employees and cutomers, and this includes pest that can spread germs, terrorize, and yes, even "attack" customers.

No business owner ever wants to be in this situation. Especially restaurant owners and food services business that must have a perceived sterile environment for food preperation and dinning. Our commercial pest control services can alleviate your fears and give you peace of mind knowing your employees and customers are in a safe and clean environment.

You probably won't find nutria frequenting your Central Arkansas business, but there are plenty of other insects and critters that can strike fear into some unsuspecting shopper or dinner. Don't get caught yelling "rats!"  Call Optimal Pest Solutions in Maumelle today.
